La UFC tiene cinco días para encontrarle un nuevo oponente al argentino Marcelo Rojo.

El Peso Gallo Raoni Barcelos anunció esta mañana en sus redes sociales que ha quedado fuera del UFC Fight Night Las Vegas 20 debido a un positivo en coronavirus.

El ex-campeón de la RFA tenía previsto darle a Rojo la bienvenida al octágono, pero eso ya no será posible.

El veterano de Combate Americas (6 – 2) aceptó pelear con Barcelos, 5 – 0 en la UFC, en lugar de Raphael Assunção, quien abandonó la pelea debido a una lesión.

Rojo, nacido en Cordoba, sostiene un récord de 16 – 6 a nivel profesional y es el cuarto argentino actualmente en la plantilla de la UFC. Los otros son Santiago Ponzinibbio, Guido Canetti y Laureano Staropoli.
